JOB DESCRIPTION Disability Justice is a nonprofit civil rights organization. Over the last 50 years, we’ve led the fight for dignity and inclusion — recognizing, as Dr. King did, that “injustice anywhere is a threat to justice everywhere.” Our team of advocates, attorneys, and investigators forms Colorado’s Protection and Advocacy system . Our goal: to make Colorado the best place in America for people with disabilities to live, work, and thrive. We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Manager of Individual Giving to shape and grow an individual giving program. This is a newly created position with the opportunity to design systems, build infrastructure, and drive long-term success. During the first year, the role will focus on donor stewardship, annual giving, prospect recruitment, and customer relationship management (CRM). RESPONSIBILITIES Among other responsibilities, the Manager of Individual Giving will: Manage and optimize our CRM system by maintaining donor records, ensuring data integrity, and improving segmentation, reporting, and fundraising workflows Conduct prospect research Cultivate relationships with individual donors Collaborate with colleagues to develop donor-centered message and campaign content Develop and implement processes to acknowledge, engage, and steward donors Execute giving campaigns through email, direct mail, online, social media, and SMS fundraising Track, analyze, and report fundraising performance metrics Recommend and implement improvements to individual giving strategies Work with the grants team to track grant prospects, deadlines, budgets, and reporting requirements within the CRM system Establish and maintain the organization's profiles on Candid, Charity Navigator, Colorado Gives, and similar platforms Perform other duties as assigned REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience At least five years of experience in nonprofit fundraising, development operations, communications, or a comparable field Demonstrated commitment to providing excellent customer service to donors and partners Experience managing email fundraising platforms and online giving campaigns Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously Strong attention to detail and ability to manage data accurately Excellent written and verbal communication skills Experience with CRM systems Ability to organize projects, follow established processes, and meet deadlines under time constraints Ability to work independently and collaboratively across teams Comfort with routine, systems-based work and process improvement Passion for and dedication to the mission of Disability Justice WORK ENVIRONMENT Applicants for this position must live in Colorado or be willing to relocate to Colorado before beginning employment. We allow employees to work from home or from our Denver office, with the understanding that they will meet in person as needed to conduct their job functions and collaborate with colleagues, clients, and partners. This position will need to work from the office at least several days per month. Disability Justice provides equipment to employees to work successfully in a remote environment, including but not limited to laptops and phones. Disability Justice provides reasonable accommodations to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions of their jobs and participate in the recruitment and interview processes. For support with the application process, please contact Gina Brown at [email protected]. COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS The hiring salary range is $72,000 to $80,000 per year. This is a full-time position of 36 hours per week. Disability Justice offers paid holidays, parental leave, annual leave, sick leave, and bereavement leave; as well as medical, vision, dental, and retirement plans for full-time employees. APPLICATION PROCESS Candidates should submit a cover letter outlining their interest and qualifications, along with a resume, through BambooHR. All applications must be submitted on Bamboo HR. Applications submitted on other platforms will not be considered. Applications are due by August 17, 2026. We will consider applications as they are received. Disability Justice strives to build a team that reflects the communities we serve. Guided by the disability rights principle, “Nothing about us without us,” we strongly encourage candidates with disabilities and those from diverse backgrounds to apply.
