The Manager of Supportive Services provides clinical and administrative leadership for this division of supportive services within a community mental health setting. This role supervises vocational case managers, peer specialists, therapists, and more, while also ensuring timely access to competitive employment opportunities, promoting recovery-oriented and person-centered care, and supporting integration of employment goals into behavioral health treatment planning. The Manager oversees service quality, staff development, program development, documentation, referrals, outcomes, partnerships, and compliance with agency, Medicaid, Division of Vocational Rehabilitation (DVR), Behavioral Health Administration (BHA), and other funding requirements while promoting dignity, inclusion, participant choice, and continuous improvement. While this position works remotely most of the time, presence at occasional on-site meetings is required. This position may work on-site more frequently if desired. Qualifications: Required Qualifications: Clinical Licensure as LPC, LCSW or LP required. Master's Degree in related field required. At least two years’ experience providing vocational/supported employment services utilizing an evidence-based supported employment model, such as Individualized Placement Support (IPS). Experience working with a community-based team. Preferred Qualifications: Experience supervising and/or leading a team of service providers. Experience with state reporting requirements and completing reports for government entities including the Behavioral Health Administration (BHA) and Division of Vocational Rehabilitation (DVR). Knowledge of human resources, hiring practices, and organizational change principles. Experience with caseload management and completion of required paperwork. Strong written and verbal communication, organization, problem-solving, and decision-making skills. Essential Duties: Provide clinical and administrative supervision, coaching, performance feedback, and professional development for vocational case managers, employment-focused therapist(s), peer specialists, and other team members. Facilitate weekly staff meetings; two formal staff meetings monthly (one of which is attended by DVR), and two informal meetings (more of a “check-in”). Monitor referral flow, caseload distribution, service access, documentation quality, productivity, participant satisfaction, employment outcomes, and program performance. Process all referrals to Supportive Services. Collaborate with staff and leaders across Jefferson Center to promote Supported Employment to facilitate referrals to the program. Minimum annual attendance at team meetings across the Center is recommended. May also include attendance at other events, such as New Employee Orientation, to teach colleagues about Supported Employment. Ensure services and documentation meet Medicaid, state, funder, contract, and agency requirements, including audit readiness and compliance with confidentiality and ethical standards. Ensure services are recovery-oriented, person-centered, trauma-informed, culturally responsive, and aligned with supported employment best practice principles. Utilize PowerBI and other reporting tools regularly to identify trends, strengthen service quality, support staff accountability, and guide continuous improvement. Utilize these tools individually and with team members to promote understanding and visibility. Serve as a liaison with DVR and support contract coordination, service authorizations, referrals, billing processes, reporting, and outcome tracking. Facilitate monthly check-in meetings with DVR supervisor, and monthly meeting with DVR counselors. Attend and participate in the Quarterly Supervisor Meeting, facilitated by the BHA and DVR. Maintain positive, collaborative relationships with BHA and DVR contacts, benefits planners, community partners, and other stakeholders to support inclusive hiring and coordinated service delivery. Complete all state reporting requirements on time. Complete all IPS reporting requirements on time. Attend and participate in weekly leadership meetings for the Adult Outpatient Services division. Schedule and attend regular supervision/1:1 sessions with supervisor. Note: This job description is not intended to serve as an exhaustive list of all job duties and responsibilities. Salary Range - $74,800 to $93,000* Additional Salary Information*: The salary range above is based on 1.0 FTE (full time equivalent) or 40 hours per week. Less than 40 hours/week will be prorated and adjusted to the appropriate FTE.* Jefferson Center pay is determined by various factors including education level, licensure level, years of relative experience, and internal equity amongst current staff.
