Location: Bermuda Office (In Person / Hybrid Opportunity) About the Role: The Manager, Reinsurance Finance, will be responsible for supporting the VP Finance in the day-to-day management of various finance-related tasks, including finance operations, and technical accounting for the Reinsurance Finance department. Responsibilities & Accountabilities: Review reinsurance contracts to ensure financial accuracy in the policy administration system. Process and assist with the management of proportional treaty accounts; including the review and analysis of loss bordereaux and the coordination of payments to brokers. Assist with management of non-proportional treaties; including installment premiums and adjustments. Assist with the management and monitoring aged receivables. Assist with the monthly closing of the policy administration system. Assist with review and analytical analysis of policy administration system output for accuracy and completion. Liaise with brokers, underwriting team, claims team and other internal and external stakeholders as required. Ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements. Collaborate on projects with other stakeholders to streamline workflows and enhance automation. Ideal Candidate Profile: Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, business management, or a related field or equivalent professional experience. A professional accounting qualification (CA, CPA, ACCA or similar) is preferred but not required. Minimum 4 to 6 years of functional experience preferred. Knowledge of proportional and non-proportional reinsurance structures. Experience with underwriting systems - DXC SICS is preferred. Financial reporting experience within a strict internal controlled (SOX) environment. Proficient in MS Office Word, Outlook, Excel. Excellent analytical skills with a strong focus on accuracy and attention to detail. Ability to manage multiple priorities in a deadline driven environment. Ability to adapt to evolving processes within a technology-forward environment.
