About this Position As a Manager Toxicology, you will be an integral part of our Corporate Product Safety organization, contributing to the success of various projects through effective collaboration and leveraging your unique skill set while crafting your career. This is how: What you´ll do Conduct toxicological safety assessments of raw materials and Henkel products across a broad range of applications and markets Perform classification and labeling for chemicals and mixtures in accordance with the Globally Harmonized System (GHS) and applicable regulations Provide toxicological expertise and support for REACH registrations and other regulatory submissions Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including Regulatory Affairs, Product Development, Analytics to drive compliant and innovative solutions Partner with customers to understand their product stewardship needs, and provide scientific guidance and expert opinions Represent Henkel in European industry associations, scientific committees, and external working groups, contributing to the advancement of safety and regulatory science Support Henkel's sustainability ambitions by integrating toxicological expertise into sustainable product innovation and responsible product stewardship What makes you a good fit Master's degree (or equivalent) in Toxicology, Life Sciences, Chemistry, Pharmacy, or a related scientific discipline; a PhD is an advantage At least eight years of professional experience in toxicology, ideally within the chemical-, consumer goods-, or related industries Strong expertise in the evaluation and interpretation of toxicological endpoints, study data, and standard toxicological testing methods Solid experience in hazard identification, exposure assessment, and human health risk assessment Excellent communication and stakeholder-management skills, with the ability to translate complex scientific concepts into clear and actionable recommendations Proficiency in English and German (written and spoken) Some perks of joining Henkel Flexible work scheme with flexible hours, hybrid work model, and work from anywhere policy for up to 30 days per year Diverse national and international growth opportunities Global wellbeing standards with health and preventive care programs Gender-neutral parental leave for a minimum of 8 weeks Employee Share Plan with voluntary investment and Henkel matching shares Company Pension Plan 100% financed by Henkel MEGA Preventive Health Insurance CareFlex Supplementary Care Insurance Mobility offer: My Henkel Bike and Jobticket At Henkel, we come from a broad range of backgrounds, perspectives, and life experiences.
