The Manager, Tumor Registrar oversees tumor registrar staff, program activities, administrative functions, and financial analysis. Further, the Manager, Tumor Registrar ensures that all operations are conducted in accordance with applicable requirements and regulations. CORE JOB FUNCTIONS Implements and maintains quality processes to ensure the integrity of registry data. Reports data in accordance with the requirements of federal, state, and local laws and the standards of accrediting and regulatory agencies. Performs statistical analysis and graphical presentation. Assists with recruitment, retention, orientation, development, and performance enhancement of staff. Attends all tumor board meetings and keeps the meeting minutes. Implements methods for collecting, analyzing, storing, retrieving, and reporting patient medical information and statistics. Establishes and continuously assesses the effectiveness of the internal controls within the unit and compliance with University policies and procedures. Ensures employees are trained on controls within the function and on University policy and procedures.
