What You'll Do We’re looking for a Managing Director, Head of Advice Distribution and Enablement to join our Individual Solutions leadership team! In this role you'll be responsible for driving the strategy, design, execution, and continuous improvement of advice delivery, distribution, and client-facing enablement programs that enhance the effectiveness of client-facing teams. This role partners closely with financial planning and advice, sales leadership, product, marketing, and business operations to ensure client-facing teams are equipped with the tools, training, and insights needed to deliver consistent and high-quality client experiences and achieve business growth objectives, facilitates quality and consistency across multiple sales teams, financial planning and advice delivery and directly leads and manages Workplace Personal Investing client facing teams. This person will ensure client facing teams across Individual Solutions are effective in improving client outcomes, driving key performance indicators, achieving advice delivery goals, and developing effective practice management routines to deliver industry distinctive advice at scale. You'll have the opportunity too: Distribution Strategy & Sales Enablement Lead the development and execution of financial planning and resulting advice delivery, sales enablement, practice management, and coaching strategies that drive business growth, advisor engagement, and desired client experience and sales outcomes across digital, advisor, hybrid, and referral channels Translate business and distribution priorities into scalable enablement programs, tools, and processes that improve sales productivity and effectiveness Partner with advice, product and sales leadership to align enablement initiatives with growth targets, client segments, and go-to-market strategies Distribution Leadership & Team Development Lead distribution, sales enablement, financial planning support, and related education, guidance and advice services functions, ensuring alignment with distribution strategy, sales priorities and measurable business outcomes Establish clear performance expectations, operating models, and development plans across teams Build leadership capability and a strong talent pipeline to support sustained business growth Advisor Engagement and Sales Execution Lead development of sales-aligned engagement moments, including point-in-time sales triggers, planning opportunities, and product positioning guidance that support effective client conversations Design and execute training and activation strategies to drive adoption of tools, resources, and sales practices Partner with and influence field leaders to drive advisor effectiveness, consistent execution and achievement of sales and client experience objectives Practice Management & Sales Effectiveness Develop and implement practice management frameworks that enhance advisor productivity, pipeline management, and client engagement Ensure financial planning, advice and delivery teams effectively leverage planning tools, product solutions, and firm resources to achieve sales growth and positive client outcomes Identify and promote best practices that drive consistency and performance across the sales organization Cross-Functional Partnership & Distribution Advocacy Serve as a key leader and advocate for distribution, helping shape business priorities, channel strategies, product development, and platform enhancements that support growth and advisor success. Partner with Product, Marketing, Operations, and Technology to align enablement resources and improve end-to-end sales execution Support readiness and adoption of new initiatives and capabilities Performance Measurement & Continuous Improvement Define and track KPIs related to sales productivity, advisor performance, channel effectiveness, growth, and business outcomes Use data and insights to refine enablement strategies and improve effectiveness Identify opportunities to enhance advisor efficiency and sales performance Special Projects & Strategic Initiatives Lead or support strategic initiatives that enhance sales effectiveness, advisor experience, or operational scalability Contribute to enterprise-wide efforts related to transformation, growth, and process improvement Operating at the intersection of financial services and technology, Principal builds financial tools that help our customers live better lives. Who You Are 15+ years of experience in financial services across financial planning, advice, sales, distribution, enablement, national sales, and/or business strategy, including 8+ years of people leadership experience Proven experience leading advice delivery, sales enablement and distribution strategy functions that drive measurable sales productivity and business outcomes Demonstrated success improving advisor adoption, sales effectiveness, quality, consistency, and revenue growth through scalable enablement and activation strategies Strong understanding of sales processes, client engagement practices, and go-to-market strategies in a complex, client-centric environment Proven ability to lead and develop high-performing teams, including coaching leaders and building scalable organizations Experience influencing senior leadership and partnering across a matrixed organization to drive strategic alignment Strong cross-functional leadership across Product, Marketing, Technology, and Operations Data-driven mindset with the ability to analyze performance metrics, identify gaps, and drive continuous improvement Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate strategy into clear, actionable direction for sales teams Experience with sales enablement tools and platforms (e.g., CRM, content platforms, LMS) FINRA Series 7,66,24 preferred (or willingness to obtain). Travel Requirements Travel required, including overnight stays. Relocation not required Salary Range Information Salary ranges below reflect targeted base salaries. Non-sales positions have the opportunity to participate in a bonus program. Sales positions are eligible for sales incentives, and in some instances a bonus plan, whereby total compensation may far exceed base salary depending on individual performance. Actual compensation for all roles will be based upon geographic location, work experience, education, licensure requirements and/or skill level and will be finalized at the time of offer. Salary Range $242000 - $328000 / year Time Off Program Flexible Time Off (FTO) is provided to salaried (exempt) employees and provides the opportunity to take time away from the office with pay for vacation, personal or short-term illness. Employees don’t accrue a bank of time off under FTO and there is no set number of days provided.
