This role is for one of our clients Industry: Plastics and Rubber Product Manufacturing Seniority level: Mid-senior level Min Experience: 7+ years Location: India JobType: full-time ₹8,00,000 - ₹10,00,000 a year We are seeking an experienced Manhattan OMS Consultant with 7–15 years of experience in implementing, configuring, and supporting enterprise Order Management solutions. The ideal candidate will possess deep expertise in Manhattan Active Omni and Manhattan Order Management System (OMS) , along with a strong understanding of omnichannel retail, order fulfillment, inventory visibility, and distributed order management processes. In this role, you will collaborate with business stakeholders, product owners, architects, and development teams to design, implement, and optimize scalable OMS solutions that enhance customer experience while streamlining order lifecycle management. You will play a key role in delivering robust omnichannel commerce solutions for large-scale retail and e-commerce environments. Requirements Key Responsibilities Design, configure, implement, and support solutions using Manhattan Active Omni and Manhattan OMS . Analyze business requirements and translate them into scalable technical solutions aligned with enterprise architecture. Configure order orchestration, inventory visibility, fulfillment optimization, sourcing rules, and returns management. Collaborate with cross-functional teams including eCommerce, warehouse, logistics, merchandising, and customer service. Participate in end-to-end implementation projects including requirement gathering, solution design, development support, testing, deployment, and post-production support. Troubleshoot production issues, perform root cause analysis, and implement sustainable resolutions. Develop integration strategies with ERP, WMS, CRM, payment gateways, and third-party logistics providers. Ensure high system availability, performance optimization, and operational excellence across OMS environments. Create technical documentation, functional specifications, configuration guides, and deployment documentation. Mentor junior consultants and contribute to best practices, knowledge sharing, and continuous process improvements. Required Skills Must-Have Skills Strong hands-on experience with Manhattan Active Omni . Extensive expertise in Manhattan Order Management System (OMS) . Experience implementing omnichannel retail and distributed order management solutions. Strong understanding of order lifecycle, inventory management, fulfillment, shipping, returns, and customer order orchestration. Experience integrating OMS with enterprise applications using APIs, web services, or middleware platforms. Knowledge of solution architecture, system configuration, testing methodologies, and production support. Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills. Experience working in Agile/Scrum delivery environments. Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities. Good-to-Have Skills Advanced proficiency in SQL for data analysis, reporting, and troubleshooting. Strong understanding of Order Management business processes and retail operations. Experience with cloud-based enterprise applications. Exposure to Warehouse Management Systems (WMS), ERP platforms, and supply chain technologies. Knowledge of CI/CD practices and DevOps methodologies is an advantage. Preferred Qualifications Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field. Manhattan Associates certifications are highly preferred. Experience working with large-scale retail, eCommerce, or omnichannel transformation programs. Ability to lead solution discussions and drive technical decision-making across multiple stakeholders.
