As part of our long-term cooperation with a leading banking client, we are looking for a Manual Tester to join a project based on the Murex MX.3 platform – an integrated solution supporting the entire capital markets transaction lifecycle, including trading, risk management, post-trade processing, and settlements. The project is delivered in an Agile environment and is 100% remote, with occasional team meetings in Poznań, Wrocław, or Warsaw.
Your tasks
Analyzing requirements and designing test cases
Executing test scenarios within the Murex MX.3 platform
Verifying and validating data at the database level and across front-, middle-, and back-office modules
Performing integration, end-to-end, API, and backend testing
Reporting and tracking defects
Preparing test reports and documentation
Collaborating with development teams and business stakeholders to ensure accurate implementation of business processes
Requirements
At least 3 years of experience in software testing
Experience working with the Murex MX.3 platform
Good knowledge of SQL, including writing queries and analyzing data
Experience with API testing and backend testing
Background in integration and end-to-end testing
Understanding of ISTQB Foundation Level concepts
Good command of English, both written and spoken
Ability to create test scenarios, test cases, and technical documentation
Strong communication skills, assertiveness, ability to work under pressure, and good organizational skills
Nice to have
Experience with the Murex MX.3 platform or another trading/risk management system
Knowledge of financial instruments (derivatives, FX, fixed income securities, structured products) and the transaction lifecycle
Understanding of valuation, risk management, collateral management, and clearing processes
Familiarity with data exchange formats such as XML, FIX, and SWIFT
Knowledge of Java and experience with Selenium/Selenide and RestAssured
Basic knowledge of Unix/Linux environments
Understanding of capital markets regulations, including EMIR, MiFID II, and Basel frameworks
