Position Location Remote Type Remote Office Location (if not fully remote): n/a Job Description Fairway Home Mortgage is hiring a Manufactured Housing Support Manage r to provide leadership, strategic direction, and technical guidance to our operations team and internal network. In this role, you will serve as a subject-matter expert on manufactured-home closings and real property conversions across all 50 states. You will collaborate closely with branches, title companies, and borrowers to ensure smooth, compliant, and efficient transaction processing. What you will do: Deliver exceptional service by providing prompt, accurate responses via phone, email, and instant messaging. Resolve inquiries, concerns, and escalated pre- and post-closing issues related to manufactured home requirements. Utilize internal systems and regulatory resources (such as the intranet, Allregs, Knowledge Owl, FHA Connection, agency guidelines, and state statutes) to conduct research and solve complex problems. Oversee the manufactured home real property conversion pipeline, partnering with teams across the organization to streamline workflows. Guide stakeholders through the complete conversion process while adhering to established timelines and procedures. Monitor state, federal, and agency compliance regulations, advising leadership when process adjustments are necessary. Train, mentor, and develop a team of analysts responsible for pipeline oversight. Manage full-cycle personnel functions, including hiring, performance evaluations, coaching, promotions, and disciplinary actions. Partner with leadership to design job descriptions, training curricula, and operational strategies. Generate, analyze, and interpret data from Encompass and other reporting platforms to identify operational trends. Communicate actionable insights to leadership, team members, and internal/external partners. Lead and support special departmental projects as needed. What we are looking for: Minimum of 5 years of mortgage industry experience. Minimum of 4 years of specialized experience in manufactured housing processing or title work. Comprehensive understanding of the manufactured home de-titling and real property conversion process across all 50 states. Deep knowledge of the real estate title process, mortgage lifecycle (from application to funding), and required loan file documentation. Familiarity with state and federal real estate lending regulations. Proficiency with the Encompass loan origination system. funding application This is a remote, work from home opportunity.
