We're a marine brokerage and insurance company. We place hull and marine risks for shipowners, work directly with underwriters, and partner with brokers across international markets. We're now looking for someone to take ownership of our insurance desk in Athens.
What you'll be doing
You'll be the point of contact between shipowners and insurers — handling enquiries, working out premiums, and seeing each placement through from first conversation to policy issued. Day to day that means talking to underwriters, keeping clients and partners informed, preparing quotes, invoicing, and issuing policies.
The role is also outward-facing. You'll represent us at industry conferences and meet shipowners, insurers, and other market participants in person. Building a real network in this market is a core part of the job, not an afterthought.
What we're looking for
• Based in Athens
• A solid grasp of how insurance works (marine experience is a strong advantage)
• Confident business English for correspondence and negotiations
• Russian preferred
• Someone organised, dependable, and genuinely good with people

Primarily remote, with regular travel to conferences and client meetings.
