About The Role

As a Market Research Analyst at MavnixIT, you will turn raw market signals into decisions our leadership and clients can act on. You will size markets, profile competitors, track buyer behaviour across technology and services segments, and package your findings into clear, defensible recommendations. This is a work-from-home role based out of Nagpur/Wardha, with site visits only if a project requires it.

What You'll Do

• Conduct primary and secondary research on markets, competitors, pricing, and customer segments across India and international territories.
• Build and maintain market sizing models (TAM/SAM/SOM), competitive matrices, and opportunity assessments.
• Design and run surveys, structured interviews, and feedback studies; clean, code, and analyse the resulting data.
• Translate findings into concise reports, dashboards, and presentation decks for internal teams and client stakeholders.
• Track industry trends, funding activity, and regulatory shifts relevant to our service lines, and flag emerging opportunities.
• Partner with sales and marketing to sharpen ICP definitions, messaging, and go-to-market plans with evidence.
  
  

What We're Looking For

• 1–3 years of experience in market research, business research, consulting, or a strategy/analyst role.
• Strong analytical skills with hands-on Excel/Google Sheets (pivots, lookups, modelling); familiarity with SQL, Python, or BI tools is a plus.
• Proven ability to synthesise messy information into a clear point of view — writing and deck-craft matter as much as the analysis.
• Comfort with research tools and sources (industry databases, government data, LinkedIn, Statista, company filings).
• Excellent written and verbal English communication.
• Self-directed and reliable in a fully remote setup, with willingness to travel for occasional site visits when required.
