Your Role

As a Marketing and Business Development Coordinator, you are responsible for:

• Write engaging, on-brand captions and copy for all social posts
• Produce and publish 1 newsletter per week
• Create monthly activity calendars and School Holiday Program (SHP) graphics and
• promotional support
• Design flyers, brochures, capability statements, and other promotional assets
• Create social graphics aligned with Sahara's brand guidelines
• Maintain visual consistency across all channels
• Post across social platforms 3x per week
• Manage and publish 1 LinkedIn post per week on Sam's profile
• Schedule and publish all planned content
• Share relevant posts to Facebook groups to extend reach and engagement
• Monitor and respond to Facebook Messenger inquiries promptly
• Drive general community engagement across all social platforms
• Deliver monthly social media reporting covering performance, insights, and actionable recommendations
• Build and maintain relationships with support coordinators, plan managers, LACs, hospitals, and allied health professionals to generate referrals
• Identify and pursue new referral sources and partnership opportunities
• Manage the referral pipeline and keep partner/contact records up to date (CRM or register)
• Respond to, follow up on, and convert inbound inquiries into enrolled participants
• Promote and fill SIL/SDA vacancies and available program places
• Represent Sahara at networking events, expos, community days, and provider info sessions
• Deliver capability presentations and briefings to referrers and stakeholders
• Run targeted outreach (email/LinkedIn) to referral partners, in coordination with marketing campaigns
• Provide monthly BD reporting on referrals, conversions, occupancy, and pipeline

Qualifications:

• 2+ years' experience across marketing and/or business development
• Strong copywriting, proofreading, and graphic design capability (Canva and/or Adobe Creative Suite)
• Hands-on experience with Facebook, Instagram, and LinkedIn, including scheduling tools
• Confident relationship-builder comfortable with outreach, networking, and presentations
• Ability to read analytics and translate them into recommendations
• High attention to detail and ability to manage deadlines independently
