Role Overview

At Job Duck, we are looking for a creative and proactive Marketing Assistant who is excited to help grow a professional services organization through strategic outreach and engaging digital content. In this role, you will play an important part in expanding brand visibility, building relationships with speaking venues, and maintaining a strong online presence. You will work independently while collaborating with key stakeholders to support marketing initiatives that drive awareness and engagement. The ideal candidate enjoys taking ownership of projects, brings fresh ideas to the table, and thrives in a fast paced remote environment. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is organized, self motivated, and passionate about marketing and communications.

Schedule:

Monday to Friday from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM CST (USA)

Your Responsibilities Will Include but Are Not Limited To:

• Researching new opportunities to expand visibility and outreach efforts
• Managing social media posting schedules and daily social media activities
• Creating, editing, and distributing newsletters
• Coordinating and tracking communication with potential event partners
• Conducting outreach to venues and organizations to secure speaking presentation opportunities
• Monitoring social media engagement and assisting with audience interaction
• Assisting with additional marketing and communications projects as needed

What We’re Looking For:

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Self motivated with the ability to work independently
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Social media content creation and management
• Adaptability and willingness to learn new platforms and processes
• Familiarity with LinkedIn and Facebook for professional marketing purposes
• Reliable computer setup (laptop/PC, headset, stable internet min. 10 Mbps download / 5 Mbps upload)
• Quiet, distraction-free remote work environment
