Marketing & Communications Manager Join sunday in the UK to lead marketing, PR and events, bring global campaigns to life locally, and help restaurants embrace simpler, smarter payments. Apply to this job 👋 About Us sunday is building the fastest, simplest way to pay in restaurants. With a quick scan of a QR code, diners can pay, tip, and leave in about 10 seconds. We believe great products should feel obvious, not complicated, and we focus relentlessly on keeping things simple while earning trust from restaurants and guests at every interaction. Today, sunday powers payments in thousands of restaurants across the US, UK, and France, helping operators turn tables faster, increase tips, and unlock valuable insights. We push ourselves to go beyond what’s expected, building with ownership, moving fast, and scaling with ambition as we tackle our biggest growth opportunity in the US. About the Role We are looking for a Marketing & Communications Manager to own sunday’s marketing presence in the UK. As the key point of contact for marketing in the UK, you will be responsible for making sure that sunday’s global positioning, campaigns and product stories are relevant, compelling and effective for the local restaurant market. You will own local marketing initiatives including events, trade shows, referral programmes, press relations, brand campaigns, local social media, sales enablement and local product launches. You will not own digital acquisition or the global Growth plan. Instead, you will work closely with the Growth team to adapt global campaigns and priorities for the UK market, ensuring that local insights, customer needs and market dynamics are reflected in execution. Collaboration with Growth Work closely with the Growth team on the planning and localisation of campaigns. Provide UK market insights to inform audience targeting, messaging and campaign execution. Adapt global digital acquisition campaigns for the UK without owning the underlying acquisition strategy. Ensure that marketing activity supports the full customer journey, from awareness through to conversion and expansion. Share local performance data and customer feedback with the Growth team. About You We are looking for someone who combines strong marketing and communications expertise with a genuine understanding of the restaurant industry.
