We build wine club and loyalty software for Australian wineries and distilleries. We're a small team based in Hobart, Tasmania, looking to put down some marketing roots. There's more happening here each month than we're currently telling anyone about.
That's the role. Customers going live, features shipping, hard-won lessons about selling wine and spirits online: we want someone to turn all of it into content that actually reaches our audience.
What you'd be doing
→ Bottling what's happening in the business (customer launches, feature releases, DTC lessons) into LinkedIn posts, articles and email
→ Producing customer case studies, from interview through to sign-off
→ Writing practical ecommerce and Shopify content aimed at small producers
→ Making short screen-capture feature videos (Screen Studio / Descript style, nothing fancy)
→ Running our LinkedIn and Instagram day to day, including first-line replies
→ Helping get our email list off the ground and keeping it consistent
What suits
You know ecommerce and DTC, and you've used Shopify or WooCommerce before. You're comfortable writing for a business audience without taking yourself too seriously. A passion for wine or spirits is a bonus, not a requirement.
The details
$1,000/month AUD retainer, ongoing. Tell us your rate and we'll size the queue to match, prioritising it together at the start of each month.
This is a remote role, Australian hours. Our preference is someone Tasmanian-based, where visiting our customers and collaborating in person are both a real plus.
You'd work directly with our founder: close involvement, quick answers, no briefs thrown over a wall.
