Position Title: Marketing Coordinator Reports To: Director, Marketing Location: Johns Creek Department: Marketing Position Summary: The Marketing Coordinator at Nichiha plays a vital role in enhancing the customer experience through the management of promotional programs, samples, and a large annual trade show schedule. This role is responsible for ensuring customer-facing initiatives are executed accurately, professionally, and on time, directly impacting brand perception, lead generation, and overall customer satisfaction. The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, proactive, and able to collaborate across the organization to deliver the best possible marketing experience. Responsibilities/Duties: Promotional and Sample Management: Oversee the organization and distribution of promotional materials and product samples, ensuring they are high quality, readily available, and aligned with market and customer needs. Trade Show Coordination: Manage and coordinate a large annual schedule of trade shows and corporate events, working closely with Sales, Marketing, vendors, and other internal teams to ensure booth needs, materials, promotional items, shipping, staffing, and deadlines are properly planned and executed. Evaluate event success through lead generation, attendee engagement, feedback, and post-event ROI. Travel is not required for every trade show and will be on a case-by-case basis. However, the Marketing Coordinator is expected to be available to support scheduled events. The annual trade show schedule is established and communicated well in advance, generally at the beginning of the year. Operational Oversight: Manage inventory for Nichiha’s promotional merchandise program, ensuring budget adherence, sourcing efficiency, inventory accuracy, and appropriate planning for upcoming events and initiatives. Administrative and Reporting: Perform administrative duties including invoice reconciliation, expense tracking, and bi-weekly department expense reports, maintaining financial and operational accuracy. Required Education and Experience: Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Communications, or related field or equivalent professional level experience. Professional Experience: Minimum of 2–3 years in marketing, event coordination, or a related role, preferably within a B2B environment. Required Skills/Abilities: Attention to Detail: Strong attention to detail with the ability to accurately manage multiple events, deadlines, vendors, shipments, materials, and competing priorities. Project Management: Excellent organizational and project management skills with a proven ability to manage multiple projects and a high-volume event schedule simultaneously. Collaboration and Communication: Demonstrated ability to work effectively with Sales, Marketing, vendors, and other departments across the organization to understand needs, communicate expectations, and ensure successful execution. Customer Focus: Strong understanding of customer engagement and the impact of customer-facing initiatives on brand perception, lead generation, and customer loyalty. Initiative and Ownership: Takes ownership of assigned responsibilities, anticipates needs, communicates potential issues early, and proactively identifies opportunities to improve processes and execution. Analytical Acumen: Ability to measure and analyze event and promotional campaign effectiveness and use results to improve future marketing decisions. Technical Proficiency: Competent in Microsoft Office Suite and Google Workspace, with experience in CRM and project management software preferred. Adaptability: Capable of adjusting priorities and tactics in response to changing business needs, feedback, and event requirements.
