Marketing Coordinator Rosso Coffee Group | Full-Time | Remote | Melbourne hours | $70,000 AUD Rosso Coffee Group is looking for a marketer who wants to actually do marketing . Not wait for a task list. Not disappear into dashboards, tech fixes and internal requests. You’ll take ownership of three commercial outcomes — North Melbourne sales, wholesale opportunities and Shopify revenue — and get the freedom, tools and support to move them. This is a role for someone who likes ideas, likes shipping, likes figuring things out and knows how to keep the main thing the main thing. The opportunity Rosso is a Melbourne coffee group spanning our North Melbourne venue, wholesale coffee business and e-commerce brand. At the centre of it is a founder who genuinely loves coffee and has built a strong community around it — including an engaged community of café owners. You won’t be walking into a blank sheet of paper. There are already brand assets, SOPs, Klaviyo infrastructure, campaign rhythms, systems and a growing GoHighLevel setup. The opportunity is to take those ingredients and turn them into a focused commercial marketing machine. You’ll get to play as a marketer : test ideas, build campaigns, create demand, improve what works and kill what doesn’t. Our commercial priorities are clear: Grow North Melbourne venue sales Generate qualified wholesale opportunities Grow Shopify revenue Underneath those priorities, we’re continuing to consolidate the right parts of our marketing stack into GoHighLevel so more of the machine becomes automated, visible and repeatable. What you’ll own This is an outcomes role. You’ll work closely with the founder and our external marketing strategy team, particularly in the beginning. But the goal is for you to quickly become capable of holding the marketing plan yourself — even when new requests, ideas and distractions appear during the week. Own the marketing game plan Keep North Melbourne sales, wholesale SQLs and Shopify revenue visible, prioritised and moving. Know what we’re doing, why it matters and what we are deliberately choosing not to do. Grow North Melbourne sales Build and run campaigns that generate demand for the venue through email, paid media, offers, events, database activity and other commercially sensible channels. Success is measured in sales, not vanity metrics. Build the wholesale funnel Use Rosso’s existing café-owner community, targeted outreach, events, campaigns and high-touch follow-up to create qualified SQLs inside GoHighLevel . Grow Shopify revenue Own the obvious conversion and retention opportunities first — including Klaviyo flows, broadcasts, campaigns, landing pages, offers and customer journeys — then keep testing what moves revenue. Run paid campaigns Manage ongoing Meta advertising and the current budget, starting at around $1,000–$1,200 per month . Know what the spend is returning and make decisions accordingly. Run the email rhythm Maintain regular broadcasts and campaigns across venue, wholesale and e-commerce audiences while continuing to improve the existing lifecycle flows. Own campaign production Take ideas from: plan → brief → asset → launch → measurement → improvement Use Canva, AI and the existing brand resources to move quickly without needing a specialist for every small asset. Make the marketing stack work harder Help move the appropriate workflows, lead capture, automation, reporting and pipeline activity into GoHighLevel. The goal is leverage. Protect the priorities Incoming marketing requests need to be triaged, not automatically absorbed. When something new enters the plan, make the trade-off visible: If we do this now, what moves or stops? What good looks like First 30 days Find and attack the obvious revenue opportunities, particularly within Klaviyo and existing e-commerce journeys Establish clear daily, weekly and monthly marketing cadences Baseline North Melbourne sales, wholesale SQLs and Shopify revenue Learn the existing SOPs, campaigns, tools and handovers before rebuilding things that already work Map what belongs in GoHighLevel, what should stay where it is and where automation can remove manual work By 60 days Paid campaigns are running consistently and being actively reviewed Regular email broadcasts are going out Campaigns are running against all three commercial priorities Marketing has a visible pipeline of work: planned, producing, live, measured and improved GoHighLevel is becoming the tactical home for the workflows that belong there By 90 days You’re already building the next 90-day marketing plan You can confidently defend priorities when new ideas arrive You bring recommendations rather than waiting for instructions You make trade-offs clear when priorities compete You’re increasingly operating independently while using strategic support as a sounding board The founder no longer needs to be the default marketing brain for every decision The numbers you own Your three headline KPIs are: North Melbourne: venue sales Wholesale: qualified SQLs created in GoHighLevel E-commerce: Shopify revenue Supporting measures may include campaign return, Klaviyo-attributed revenue, paid-media performance and funnel conversion. Those numbers exist to explain the three above — not replace them. How you operate You have a can-do default When something gets messy, your instinct is to find the way through. You figure things out You don’t need every step documented before you can move. If an SOP exists, use it. If something is missing, ask the right question, find the answer or build the missing piece. You manage up well You can work with an energetic founder full of ideas without becoming either a yes-person or a roadblock. You’re comfortable saying: “Yep, we can do that. Here’s what I’d move to make room for it.” You hold the line New ideas do not automatically become new priorities. You can hear ten ideas, identify the one worth acting on and keep the other nine from hijacking the week. You’re commercially minded You care more about sales, qualified opportunities and revenue than looking busy. You use AI as leverage You actively use AI to think faster, research, write, analyse, repurpose content and remove repetitive work. You have a good design eye You don’t need to be a career designer, but you know the difference between “technically finished” and something Rosso should actually put in front of customers. Skills we’re looking for You should already be comfortable with most of the following: CRM and marketing automation platforms; GoHighLevel experience is highly preferred Klaviyo — flows, broadcasts, segmentation and revenue-focused email marketing Shopify — practical marketing updates, offers, landing pages and e-commerce fundamentals Meta Ads — launching, monitoring and optimising campaigns Canva — producing clean, on-brand campaign assets quickly AI tools — using them as genuine leverage rather than a novelty Marketing analytics and reporting — turning numbers into decisions Bonus points for experience in hospitality, local-area marketing, community marketing, lifecycle marketing or B2B lead generation. You do not need to know every system we have ever touched. You do need to be the sort of person who can learn a new one without turning it into a three-week project. Why Rosso? You’re stepping into a business with actual ingredients to market . A passionate founder. Great coffee. A physical venue. E-commerce. Wholesale. Events. A café-owner community. Existing marketing infrastructure. Your job isn’t to spend six months creating folders and discovering what a CRM is. Your job is to use what’s here and make it perform . You’ll get: Real ownership — three commercial outcomes with room to decide how to move them Room to experiment — build campaigns, test angles, try offers and learn quickly Direct access to the founder — ideas can move without six layers of approval A strong foundation — SOPs, systems, brand assets, flows and handover documentation already exist A genuine marketing playground — venue, wholesale, e-commerce, events, email, ads, funnels, community and automation A full-time role with room to grow as the marketing function grows The details Role: Marketing Manager Employment: Full-time Salary: $70,000 AUD per year Location: Remote Hours: You must be available during core Melbourne business hours This probably isn’t for you if… You want someone to hand you a task list every morning You expect someone else to provide all the ideas and direction You struggle to keep priorities steady when interesting new opportunities appear You get buried in details and requests until the commercial outcome disappears You measure your value by how busy or helpful you were rather than what changed You prefer perfect and slow over useful, shipped and improving Our selection process We care about how you think as much as what’s on your CV. The process includes: Online application Culture Index questionnaire Short video Group interview 1:1 interview The short video Keep it to 2–3 minutes . We’ll ask you to respond to this scenario: You inherit three priorities: North Melbourne sales, wholesale SQLs and Shopify revenue. Mid-week, the founder brings you three new marketing ideas he wants actioned immediately. Talk us through how you’d decide what gets attention, what waits and how you’d communicate the trade-offs. We’re not looking for Hollywood production. We’re looking at your: Prioritisation Commercial judgement Clarity Confidence Bias to action Please do not share confidential information, customer data, campaign data or intellectual property from current or previous employers during the application process. We aim to acknowledge applications and provide an update within five business days. All application information will be handled confidentially and used only to assess your suitability for the role
