Is this job info correct?

Why Babble? Babble is a Customer Experience-led growth business. As the ultimate Trusted Advisor for cloud-based technologies, we specialize in empowering businesses with the best solutions from the world's leading providers. We are specialists in: Microsoft Modern Work Cybersecurity Contact Centre Technology Mobile Solutions Communications & Connectivity With thousands of customers, we're just scratching the surface of our potential. Many of our clients currently benefit from one or two of our technologies, presenting an incredible opportunity to introduce them to our full suite of market-leading solutions. Join us on this exciting journey and let's achieve greatness together! About Us | Leading UK Cloud Solutions Provider | Babble Join Our Dynamic Team as a Marketing Executive! 🌟 Are you passionate about telecoms? Do you thrive in a fast-paced, innovative environment? At Babble, we’re on a mission to be our customer’s most trusted advisor for cloud-based technologies. We’re looking for passionate and talented individuals to join our dynamic team. If so, we have the perfect opportunity for you! What will you be doing? Support the execution of Babble's events programme and help build our social media presence, primarily on LinkedIn where our SMB IT and business-owner audience is. Events is a support and delivery role — the Brand & Communities Manager owns event strategy and planning, but this person is our ambassador on the day: confident, front-of-house, representing Babble to customers and prospects. Social carries more room to grow: we expect the postholder to take on increasing ownership of day-to-day direction over time. Both generate data and content that feed our wider AI-driven marketing infrastructure — this is a role expected to use data to improve how it works, not just report on it. Accountabilities and Deliverables: Support the planning, coordination and delivery of Babble's events programme — the Brand & Communities Manager owns event strategy and direction; this role executes it. Assist with logistics, administration, supplier coordination and attendee communications. Manage event documentation, schedules and project plans to keep delivery on track. Attend events to support setup, on-the-day running and pack- down. Act as an ambassador for Babble at events — confident, front-of-house, and comfortable representing the brand to customers and prospects without direct supervision. Assist with post-event reporting, feedback collection and performance analysis. Capture attendee and engagement data in a consistent, usable format for the wider marketing function. Support development of, then increasingly help shape, the social content calendar alongside the Brand & Communities Manager — primarily LinkedIn, where our SMB IT and business-owner audience is. Produce content across formats, using AI tools to speed up production. Schedule, publish and monitor content across channels. Measure performance against business value, not reach — and use the data to change what's done next. Expected to take on more ownership of day-to-day social direction as capability and confidence grow. Support wider marketing projects and campaign assets as needed. Core Competencies: Organisation and attention to detail — this is an execution role, delivered reliably to a brief. Comfortable following direction and flagging issues early, rather than setting event strategy. Poise and presence with customers face to face — composed, personable and professional with no script and no one standing over them. Able to write and adapt content for a professional B2B audience, not just a personal or consumer one. AI-native: uses tools to work faster without being told to. More scope here to grow into a leading role than in events Proactive; comfortable working independently and in a team. Key Performance Indicators Event attendee and engagement data captured to a standard usable elsewhere in the business — target and format to be agreed in first 90 days. Social content performance reported against business-value measures (e.g. engagement quality, click-through, lead touches), not reach or likes alone. At least one documented example per quarter of a format, channel, or timing decision changed because of performance data. Working Arrangements This is a Wakefield-based role, and the successful candidate will be expected to work from our Wakefield office a minimum of two days per week alongside the Brand & Communities Manager. The role also includes supporting events and community activities across the UK. While travel will not typically be required on a weekly basis, there will be occasions where travel is necessary to support event delivery. This may involve travel outside of normal working hours and, on occasion, overnight stays. As a result, a full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle are essential requirements for this position. What You'll Gain A fantastic opportunity to begin your career in marketing. Hands-on experience across events, social media and marketing. Mentorship and support from an experienced Brand & Communities Manager and Marketing team. Exposure to a wide range of marketing activities and projects. Opportunities to develop new skills and grow your marketing career. A collaborative and supportive working environment. We're looking for someone enthusiastic, proactive and eager to build a career in marketing. Above all, you'll be highly organised and detail-oriented — event delivery relies on excellent planning and coordination, so this matters more than anything else on this list. A genuine passion for marketing and a desire to build a career in the industry. Strong interest in social media, content creation and digital marketing. Exceptional organisational skills with a high level of attention to detail. Ability to manage multiple tasks, deadlines and priorities effectively. Strong written and verbal communication skills. A proactive approach and willingness to learn. Ability to work independently while also collaborating effectively within a team. Confident representing Babble face to face at events, unsupervised — comfortable as the front-of-house presence with customers and prospects. Confidence using social media platforms in a professional capacity, and able to write and adapt content for a professional B2B audience, not just a personal or consumer one. Comfortable using AI tools day-to-day, and keen to find ways they can make your own work faster or better — this isn't a role for someone who just wants tasks handed to them. Comfortable working with data and analytics — able to read performance numbers, draw a conclusion from them, and show a concrete example of having changed an approach based on what the data told them. Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle. Willingness to travel nationwide to support events and marketing activities when required. What else looks good for this role: A degree or qualification in Marketing, Communications, Business or a related subject. We will consider other degrees but proof of interest/ experience will be a must. Experience creating content for social media, whether through work, education, personal projects or voluntary activities. Experience using content creation or design tools such as Canva, Adobe Creative Suite or similar, plus any exposure to AI content or automation tools (e.g. Canva AI, ChatGPT, Claude). Familiarity with social media management and scheduling platforms such as HubSpot or similar tools. Experience supporting events, projects or organised activities. Understanding of social media best practice and content planning. Experience with analytics or reporting tools (e.g. native platform analytics, Google Analytics, HubSpot reporting) is a bonus, though we're more interested in the thinking than the specific tool. Why work for Babble? Company Pension 22 days holiday Balance + UK Bank Holidays - with increased annual leave based on length of service Life Assurance – 4x Annual Salary Optional Health Insurance – Bupa Optional Health Cash Plan – Health Shield £1,000 payment after 10 years service Bike to Work Scheme Season Ticket Commuter Loan Charities Trust – Donations to charities pre tax Annual Company Celebrations Hybrid-Working Policy You will be contracted to work from the office however, Babble operates a non-contractual Hybrid Working Policy whereby you will be required to be in the office on company anchor days (Monday, Tuesday and Thursday) and will be able to work from home on Wednesday and Friday. Unless your role has different requirements. The recruitment journey We want to fill this role quickly, but we want to get the right person. The recruitment process will consist of a screening call. If you proceed past this then you will have an interview and possibly a follow up interview and competency testing depending on the role requirements.
