About the Role
We are looking for a creative, organized, and detail focused Marketing Graphic Designer to support a range of business, event, entertainment, and community projects.
This is a hands on design role focused on creating clean, professional marketing materials. You will work on social media graphics, presentations, proposals, one pagers, newsletters, event promotions, and other branded content.
The ideal candidate has strong design judgment, excellent common sense, and a clear understanding of what makes content visually appropriate for its purpose and audience. You should be comfortable turning rough ideas, existing materials, photos, and event footage into polished designs.
You will work closely with an executive who has a specific creative vision and may provide detailed feedback. You must be patient with revisions, responsive to changing priorities, and able to keep projects moving without constant follow-up.
Key Responsibilities
- Create polished graphics for social media, events, announcements, campaigns, and other marketing needs
- Design and redesign presentations, proposals, pitch decks, one pagers, sponsorship materials, and event information sheets
- Improve existing materials so they are cleaner, easier to understand, and visually consistent
- Develop reusable templates for recurring social media posts, presentations, newsletters, and event promotions
- Create branded materials for wrestling, Music in the Park, private events, and other business or community projects
- Turn available photos, videos, event information, and project updates into engaging visual content
- Use good judgment when selecting images and footage to ensure they are appropriate for the message and audience
- Resize and adapt designs for different social media platforms, digital channels, and print materials
- Help create and maintain a practical content calendar based on upcoming events, announcements, and available content
- Design a monthly newsletter in close collaboration with the team
- Gather and organize the information, images, and updates needed for each newsletter
- Maintain consistent use of colors, fonts, imagery, spacing, layout, and overall branding
- Organize photos, videos, logos, event footage, editable design files, and final materials so they can be easily located and reused
- Keep source files properly named, organized, and available for future updates
- Turn verbal instructions and rough concepts into clear visual materials
- Complete detailed revisions accurately while keeping the original purpose of the project in mind
- Manage multiple design requests and deliver completed work within agreed deadlines
Qualifications
- At least three years of experience in graphic design, marketing design, or a similar creative role
- A strong portfolio featuring social media graphics, presentations, one pagers, newsletters, event materials, or similar work
- Strong skills in layout, typography, color, spacing, and visual hierarchy
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, Figma, or similar design tools
- Experience creating materials for both digital and print use
- Experience redesigning presentations, proposals, or pitch decks
- Experience creating newsletters and event related marketing materials
- Understanding of social media content and platform specific design requirements
- Ability to maintain a consistent visual identity across different projects and platforms
- Strong attention to detail, organization, and file management
- Good judgment when selecting and presenting photos, videos, and other creative assets
- Comfortable working directly with an executive and receiving detailed feedback
- Able to manage multiple revisions without losing track of the project’s original objective
- Strong communication and time management skills
- Dependable, responsive, and able to work independently
- Experience supporting entertainment, sports, community events, or event-based businesses is an advantage
