Marketing Operations Assistant (Remote)

We're looking for a Marketing Operations Assistant, based in Syria and working fully remotely, to support the day-to-day administrative and operational activities of our Marketing team. This is a great opportunity for someone starting their career who enjoys working with data, staying organized, and supporting a fast-moving team. Rather than creating marketing campaigns, you'll help our marketing operations run smoothly by managing records, maintaining spreadsheets, organizing documentation, and keeping follow-ups on track, while working closely with our Marketing Manager and gaining exposure to an international business environment. Key Responsibilities \- Maintain and update Excel spreadsheets and internal databases \- Collect, organize, and verify information before entering it into CRM systems \- Perform accurate data entry, keeping records complete and up to date \- Follow up on website submissions and ensure required actions are completed \- Organize folders, files, and internal documentation \- Proofread articles and written content before publication \- Manage calendars, reminders, and recurring administrative tasks \- Track ongoing tasks and ensure deadlines and follow-ups are met \- Assist with preparing reports and maintaining operational records \- Support the Marketing Manager with general administrative and operational activities \- Assist with additional operational projects as the Marketing team grows What Success Looks Like Within your first few months, you will: \- Keep all assigned records accurate and up to date \- Ensure no important follow-up tasks are missed \- Maintain organized documentation and structured folders \- Support the Marketing Manager with minimal supervision \- Demonstrate reliability, ownership, and attention to detail \- Become a trusted operational support member of the Marketing team Required Qualifications \- Currently residing in Syria and legally able to work \- 0–2 years of professional experience \- Fluent English (written and spoken) — the working language of the team \- Excellent organizational and time-management skills \- High attention to detail and accuracy \- Comfortable working with Microsoft Excel on a daily basis \- Strong written communication skills \- Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously \- Reliable, proactive, and eager to learn \- Comfortable working independently in a fully remote environment \- A suitable home working setup: a personal computer, a stable internet connection, and a workable backup arrangement for power or connectivity interruptions Preferred Qualifications \- Previous experience in administration, operations, coordination, customer support, or office assistance \- Experience with CRM systems is a plus \- Familiarity with Microsoft Office or Google Workspace \- Basic understanding of marketing processes \- Experience using AI tools such as ChatGPT to improve productivity is an advantage What We Offer \- Competitive salary, aligned with the local market and paid by bank transfer \- Fully remote work from anywhere in Syria \- Stable, full-time employment \- Structured onboarding and comprehensive training \- Direct mentoring from experienced managers \- Exposure to international projects and global operations \- Continuous learning and professional development opportunities \- Career growth opportunities within Azurreo \- Performance-based salary reviews and internal promotion opportunities \- A friendly, collaborative, and multicultural work environment Why Join Azurreo?
