About Salmon Salmon is a technology-driven financial company building modern banking and lending in Southeast Asia, starting with the Philippines. We improve financial access for millions in underserved markets. Our products are reliable, fast, and work seamlessly – giving people more time, control, and confidence. In just 3 years, we grew to 2M+ users with $310M+ in backing. Here, ownership is real: you build from day one, solve meaningful problems, and shape outcomes. About the role As Salmon's Marketing Operations Associate, you'll keep the money and paperwork behind our marketing and growth engine moving – contractor expenses, corporate spend, vendor contracts, and budget data, all in one place and always accurate. This is an operational backbone role. You'll work closely with marketing, growth, finance, and legal to make sure spend is tracked, vendors are properly onboarded, and budgets are backed by clean, timely data. As we extend these processes beyond Growth & Marketing to teams like Research and HR, you'll help scale that support model across the company. What you'll do Own expense and vendor records Manage and maintain accurate expense records across vendors and contractors Collect, verify, and organize receipts and transaction data from corporate cards Support onboarding and contracting of new vendors, ensuring all required documentation is in place Keep compliance and documentation tight Collaborate with finance and legal teams to ensure compliance and proper documentation Track contracts and approvals through to completion, flagging gaps before they become problems Contribute to budget planning Assist in budget planning and tracking, providing timely data for monthly budget reviews Help prepare clear, accurate reporting that finance and marketing leads can act on Work across teams Partner with multiple stakeholders across marketing, growth, and finance in a fast-paced environment Support the rollout of shared budgeting, payment, and contracting processes to other teams as the function grows What makes you a strong fit 1–3 years of experience in finance operations, marketing finance, or a related field Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills Proficiency with spreadsheets (Google Sheets / Excel) Good communication skills in English, both written and verbal Ability to work independently and meet deadlines Bonus Experience working with marketing teams or agencies Proficiency with AI tools (Claude / ChatGPT) What you're joining Our team is the product. You'll join at a stage where our operations processes are still being built out and extended to new teams, where the distance between a messy expense report and a clean, audit-ready record is your work, and where getting the details right keeps the rest of the company moving. We hire people who take ownership, sweat the details, and carry work through.
