Role Description The Digital Marketing Specialist role is a full-time, hybrid position based in the Johannesburg Metropolitan Area, with flexibility for some work from home. In this role, the specialist will plan, execute, and optimize digital marketing campaigns across multiple channels to support brand awareness, lead generation, and customer engagement for Altron Security.

Day-to-day responsibilities include managing social media platforms, coordinating online marketing initiatives, tracking and interpreting web analytics, and ensuring alignment with overall marketing and business objectives. The specialist will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to create targeted content, refine digital strategies, and maintain consistent messaging across digital touchpoints. The role also involves monitoring market trends, competitor activity, and campaign performance to recommend data-driven improvements.

Qualifications

• Candidates should possess strong skills in Digital Marketing and Online Marketing to plan and execute multi-channel campaigns.
• Candidates should possess skills in Social Media Marketing to manage, grow, and engage audiences across relevant social platforms.
• Candidates should possess skills in Web Analytics to measure performance, analyze user behavior, and optimize campaigns based on data.
• Candidates should possess excellent Communication skills to collaborate with stakeholders and create clear, compelling digital content.
• Relevant experience with SEO/SEM, marketing automation tools, and CRM platforms is beneficial.
• Ability to work in a hybrid environment, manage multiple projects, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced setting.
• Prior experience in B2B technology, cybersecurity, or digital identity solutions is advantageous.
• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Digital Media, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
