Role Description The Marketplace Angel Investor role at Artsays.in is a full-time remote position focused on supporting the strategic and financial growth of the marketplace. Day-to-day responsibilities include evaluating the company’s business model and performance metrics, providing input on funding strategy, and participating in financial and operational planning. The role involves collaborating closely with the founding team on market positioning, pricing, user acquisition, and product roadmap decisions. The Marketplace Angel Investor will also help identify strategic partnerships, guide risk management, and contribute to governance and compliance best practices. This role is ideal for individuals who want to actively engage with an early-stage marketplace and help shape its long-term direction. Qualifications
Experience with early-stage investing, startup funding, or angel investing, particularly in digital marketplaces or consumer platforms.
Strong financial analysis skills, including the ability to review forecasts, unit economics, and investment scenarios.
Background in business strategy, growth planning, or market expansion, with familiarity in online or technology-driven businesses.
Understanding of product development, user experience, and data-driven decision-making in a marketplace or e-commerce context.
Ability to provide mentorship to founders, communicate clearly, and collaborate effectively in a remote, cross-functional environment.
Prior experience with art, creative industries, or passion for supporting artists and creative communities is a plus.
Relevant academic background in finance, business, economics, or a related field is beneficial but not mandatory.
