About the Role We're looking for a commercially minded and analytical Marketplace Trading & Growth Manager to join our Commercial team and take ownership of the strategy and trading performance across our key third-party marketplaces, including Amazon, TikTok Shop and eBay. This is an exciting opportunity to lead the next phase of growth for an already successful marketplace channel. Reporting to the Senior Trading Manager, you will be responsible for developing and executing a multi-marketplace growth strategy, driving revenue performance and maximising the commercial potential of each platform. You will combine strategic thinking with hands-on delivery, taking ownership of marketplace performance while identifying opportunities to improve visibility, conversion, customer engagement, pricing, promotions and product range across multiple channels. How You’ll Make a Difference *Develop and execute a marketplace trading and growth strategy across Amazon, TikTok Shop, eBay and other relevant platforms. *Drive marketplace revenue growth through data-led commercial decision making. *Analyse marketplace performance and translate insights into actionable trading plans. *Identify opportunities to optimise product assortment, pricing, promotions, content and customer experience. *Refine and evolve the current marketplace approach to support the next stage of business growth. *Manage trading performance across existing marketplace channels while exploring opportunities within emerging platforms. *Work closely with Commercial, Marketing, Technology, Operations and Customer Service teams to deliver marketplace initiatives. *Build strong relationships with external marketplace partners, vendors and agencies where applicable. *Resolve marketplace issues and operational challenges in a proactive and hands-on way. *Test new trading approaches, monitor results and continuously identify opportunities for improvement. *Communicate marketplace performance, opportunities and recommendations clearly to stakeholders at all levels. *Share marketplace expertise and best practice across the wider business. What We're Looking For Essential Skills & Experience *Proven experience managing and growing online marketplace channels. *Strong knowledge of platforms such as Amazon, eBay, TikTok Shop and other established marketplaces. *Commercially focused with a strong understanding of digital trading and revenue growth. *Highly analytical with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions. *Experience developing, refining and implementing marketplace strategies. *Strong communication and stakeholder management skills. *A proactive problem solver who enjoys identifying and implementing improvements. *Ability to work effectively across multiple teams and functions. *Comfortable operating at both strategic and operational levels. *Hands-on approach with a willingness to get involved in day-to-day delivery. Desirable *Experience working across multiple marketplace platforms. *Experience managing marketplace accounts, partnerships or agencies. *Knowledge of emerging marketplace trends and opportunities. *Experience within a fast-paced retail or eCommerce environment.
