Job overview As the Marketplaces Brand Partner, you are accountable for how an assigned partner brand — or a small portfolio of brands — shows up on Amazon, eBay, and Walmart.com. You are that brand’s main point of contact at Speedway Motors and the person here who knows its catalog best. Marketplaces runs as its own business inside Speedway Motors, owning SKU governance, content, advertising, customer support, and the fulfillment strategy and delivery performance behind every order. Day to day that means working in Seller Central and Brand Registry — auditing every listing carrying the brand, mapping products to brand-owned UPCs, merging duplicates onto one clean listing, filing takedowns against counterfeit and hijacked offers, and checking weekly for pricing violations, then notifying the sellers responsible and driving each case to closure. You will own the catalog’s single source of truth and publish a weekly scorecard read by leadership at both companies. Early on you are measured on control rather than sales; once control holds, the role turns outward to storefront and enhanced content, Buy Box ownership, and assortment growth. Scope may start with one brand and expand as the program grows. Here are the specifics: Serve as the named owner of the marketplace presence for an assigned brand or brands across Amazon, eBay, and Walmart.com, and as the day-to-day point of contact for each brand’s leadership, operations, marketing, and legal teams, escalating decisions beyond the role’s authority — authorized-seller posture, supply termination, fulfillment model, MAP price setting, and commercial terms — to the Director, Marketplaces Business Unit. Maintain a complete listing audit across all three marketplaces, classifying every listing carrying an assigned brand as canonical, duplicate, hijacked, wrong-brand, MAP-violating, or dead. Own the GTIN-to-ASIN map and assign brand-owned UPCs beginning with the highest-velocity product tier, identifying fake or recycled codes and products listed under other brands’ identifiers. Execute Brand Registry casework end to end — merges, brand-name and attribute corrections, removal requests, and IP, counterfeit, and listing-correction disputes — consolidating duplicates onto a canonical listing, logging every case, and escalating those that stall. Own the listing source of truth — SKU, GTIN, canonical ASIN, product tier, content status, MAP price, and listing owner — and apply the agreed content standard consistently across the controlled catalog. Collect brand assets and build the Brand Store and A+ Content presence for each assigned brand once its canonical listing set is stable. Run the weekly MAP monitoring cycle and operate the enforcement workflow within the role’s authority — detection, documentation, notice, escalation — routing supply-termination decisions to the brand owner. Publish a weekly scorecard covering clean-up progress, violations opened and closed, median time to resolution, Buy Box position, and listing health, and maintain the baselines behind those measures. Support sales, margin, and growth objectives once the selling phase begins, analyzing sales, conversion, traffic, Buy Box share, and inventory position to close gaps to plan, and build the case for assortment expansion. Serve as the intake point for brand-funded marketing programs and co-op dollars, handing terms and funds to the advertising team, and coordinate brand participation in deals and promotions so pricing floors are honored. Advertising strategy and spend are owned by the Marketplaces advertising team. Partner with fulfillment, inventory, and customer support teams on stock coverage, feed and inventory accuracy, buyer messaging, returns, and account health for assigned brands. Constantly work to improve processes; make suggestions for productivity improvements, and optimize employee workflow, while continuing to meet our customers’ needs. Maintain regular, reliable, and punctual attendance. Take ownership of assigned responsibilities and follow through on commitments. Seek opportunities for continuous improvement and professional growth. Perform other duties as assigned. Adapt to changing priorities and demonstrate flexibility in a dynamic work setting. Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and safety protocols. This posting will close when filled. We’ll take care of you – here's how! What you’ll need to succeed in this position: Education and Experience Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Supply Chain, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and directly relevant experience. Three or more years in marketplace selling, e-commerce brand or category management, or channel management, including hands-on work in Amazon Seller Central. Demonstrated catalog clean-up experience — duplicate consolidation, brand and attribute corrections, listing removals — plus partner-facing experience with manufacturers or brand owners. What We Are Looking For in a Candidate Hands-on Amazon Brand Registry experience: merges, listing corrections, IP and policy complaints, and case escalation. This is the core technical requirement of the role. Working Seller Central proficiency — catalog management, flat files and bulk uploads, case management, account health, reporting — plus knowledge of MAP policy administration and violation monitoring. Understanding of GS1 GTIN and UPC structure and its relationship to catalog control, with strong Excel capability across large data sets, lookups, and reconciliation. An ownership temperament, and the willingness to tell established resellers their offers are coming down and hold that line professionally over months. Persistence through case work, precision at the SKU level, and clear written communication. Tolerance for dependency and ambiguity, with the ability to sequence around blockers and influence across two organizations without direct authority in either. Preferred Qualifications Powersports, motorcycle, automotive aftermarket, or performance parts experience, including fitment and application data. Prior experience establishing a brand’s marketplace presence from an uncontrolled or reseller-dominated starting point. eBay and Walmart Marketplace seller experience, and familiarity with a feed management platform (Rithum, ChannelAdvisor), Amazon Transparency, or marketplace advertising.
