Materials Compliance Engineer

Ability to assess and ensure compliance of materials and parts with regulatory requirements. Chemical & Material Science Expertise Knowledge of chemical substances, their impact, and potential replacements. Experience in material assessment and elimination of regulated substances. Data Management & Analytical Skills Ability to collect, analyze, and assess IMDS/MSDS data for compliance. Conduct impact analysis and monitor the authorization process for substances. Supplier & Stakeholder Coordination Experience in conducting supplier surveys and evaluating their chemical management processes. Strong communication and negotiation skills to ensure timely responses. Problem-Solving & Process Improvement Ability to develop and execute action plans for eliminating regulated substances. Continuous improvement mindset for optimizing workflows and adapting to new tools. Attention to Detail & Quality Assurance Ensuring accuracy in regulatory documentation, design updates, and supplier evaluations. Commitment to maintaining high standards in engineering and compliance tasks. 1 to 5 Years of a experience in product compliance, regulatory affairs, or material assessment in automotive, aerospace, or manufacturing industries Profeciency level in both french and english Master’s degree in one of the following fields: Mechanical Engineering, Material Science & Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or Automotive or Aerospace Engineering Good Knowledge of EU regulations (REACH) Collect, analyze, and manage IMDS/MSDS data. Update CATIA drawings based on engineering instructions. Perform CAE structural modifications using customer-specific tools. Collaborate with engineering and manufacturing teams. Ensure design quality and regulatory compliance. Support continuous improvement and process optimization.
