Mech Design Engr I

As a Mechanical Engineer I here at Honeywell, you will contribute to the design, development, and testing of mechanical components and systems. You will apply engineering principles to support project goals and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure product quality and performance. You will report directly to our Engineering Manager, and you’ll work out of our Mexico City, Mexico location on an On-site work schedule. In this role, you will impact the successful delivery of mechanical engineering solutions that meet customer requirements and support Honeywell’s commitment to innovation and excellence. Perform mechanical analysis and testing to validate designs and ensure compliance with quality standards. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support product development and resolve engineering issues. MUST HAVE Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in a technical discipline such as science, technology, engineering, mathematics 0-2 years of experience in mechanical engineering or related field Basic knowledge of mechanical design principles and methodologies Proficiency in CAD software such as SolidWorks or AutoCAD, and familiarity with mechanical analysis tools to support design validation and optimization Understanding of materials, manufacturing processes, and quality standards applicable to mechanical engineering WE VALUE Advanced degrees in Mechanical Engineering or related disciplines Internship or co-op experience in mechanical design or product development Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail Ability to work effectively in a team environment and manage multiple tasks Willingness to learn new technologies and adapt to changing project requirements #LI-Hybrid
