Job Title: Mechanical BIM Designer I Placement Type: Contract Location: 100% Remote PST Top Skills Site Configuration experience Experience with data entry in web-based tools or databases Ability to read and interpret site drawings, floor plans, or measurement documentation Job Description We are seeking a detail-oriented temporary team member to configure data center sites within PathFinder, an internal network cabling planning tool. This role involves entering site-specific measurements and configuration data into PathFinder to enable automated cable pathing, port assignment, and order generation for network infrastructure deployments. Responsibilities Load site configuration data into PathFinder using the Site Load UI Wizard and Site Load Intake Forms. Enter data hall measurements including cable tray dimensions, pathway distances, and rack/cabinet positions. Validate entered data against source documentation such as design drawings, as-built surveys, and vendor measurement packages. Coordinate with field teams and vendors to clarify measurement discrepancies or missing data. Track site enablement progress and report status across assigned sites. Follow standardized processes and SOWs for data entry accuracy and consistency. Escalate configuration issues or data conflicts to the PathFinder team. Essential Skills Strong attention to detail and data accuracy. Experience with data entry in web-based tools or databases. Ability to read and interpret site drawings, floor plans, or measurement documentation. Comfortable working with spreadsheets and tracking tools. Effective written communication for cross-team coordination. Self-motivated with the ability to manage a queue of sites independently. Additional Skills & Qualifications Familiarity with data center environments, cable tray systems, or network infrastructure. Experience with AWS internal tools or similar enterprise resource planning systems. Experience in telecommunications, structured cabling, or construction documentation. Understanding of network cabling terminology such as NOS, fiber trunks, and copper patching. Work Environment This position is 100% remote, with occasional collaboration required during Pacific time hours. The primary tools used include the PathFinder Cable Manager, PathFinder Site Load Intake Form, and PathFinder Site Load UI Wizard. Standard communication tools like Slack and email will be used. The duration of the role is to be determined based on the site backlog. Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of Seattle, WA. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $30.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
