The role will involve developing an understanding of the layout and components within the SMR, collaborating with engineering designers, and generating CAD models and definitions to a high standard. Your Mission: Integrated Layout Design: Develop layout solutions from concept to construction, based on design engineer specifications. CAD Modeling: Create component CAD models and definitions adhering to standards. Diagram Production: Generate 2D process, instrumentation, and ventilation system diagrams. Data Management: Assist in product configuration and data management processes. Quality Assurance: Maintain quality by conducting peer reviews of models and component definitions. CAD Environment Management: Set up and maintain CAD tools, templates, standards, QA processes, and training materials. Team Support: Provide CAD expertise, training, and mentorship to the CAD/BIM team and junior staff members. Experienced Mechanical CAD Engineer or similar role, ready to drive innovation and excellence. Collaborative team player with a knack for transforming concepts into reality through engineering teamwork. Proficient in 2D CAD systems like AutoCAD for creating precise and detailed drawings. Skilled in 3D CAD/BIM systems (Revit, Inventor, Solidworks, Solid Edge, Siemens NX, PDMS, AutoCAD Plant 3D, or similar) for crafting dynamic models and drawings. Professionally qualified in an engineering-related field, bringing expertise and technical prowess. SC Clearance or the capability to achieve it, ensuring readiness for high-security projects.
