Role Description This is a full-time Mechanical Design Engineer role based in Karachi, with a hybrid work arrangement that allows some work from home. The Mechanical Design Engineer will be responsible for developing mechanical and product designs, creating detailed 3D models and drawings, and performing design calculations to ensure safety, functionality, and manufacturability. Day-to-day tasks include working with CAD tools, collaborating with cross-functional teams to refine design requirements, and supporting the selection and integration of mechanical components aligned with international brands represented by the company. The role also involves preparing technical documentation, reviewing and improving existing designs, and coordinating with production and procurement teams to support efficient implementation of engineered solutions.
Qualifications

• Candidates should possess strong core mechanical competencies, including Mechanical Engineering and Design Engineering skills.
• Candidates should possess specialized expertise in Machine Design and Product Design for industrial, HVAC, MEP, or related applications.
• Candidates should possess proficiency in Computer-Aided Design (CAD) tools for 3D modeling, drafting, and design documentation.
• Candidates should possess solid analytical and problem-solving skills, including ability to perform basic calculations, tolerance analysis, and material selection.
• Candidates should possess effective communication and collaboration skills to work with engineering, sales, and operations teams in a hybrid environment.
• Relevant bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a closely related field; professional certifications in CAD or design tools are an advantage.
• Experience in civil, MEP, HVAC, or industrial projects and familiarity with international standards and codes will be considered beneficial.
