Senior HVAC & Plumbing Mechanical Designer Join a high-performing design team supporting nationally recognized retail brands while working on a fully remote or flexible hybrid basis. We're seeking a Senior HVAC & Plumbing Mechanical Designer to play a key role in delivering mechanical and plumbing designs for large-scale retail rollout programs across the country. This position is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys problem-solving, and can balance quality, speed, and consistency while working on multiple projects. What You'll Do Design HVAC and plumbing systems for national retail clients using established prototype store layouts. Adapt prototype designs to site-specific conditions and unique client requirements. Develop detailed construction documents utilizing AutoCAD and Revit. Coordinate closely with architecture, engineering, and project teams to ensure complete and accurate design packages. Manage multiple active projects while meeting fast turnaround schedules. Review designs for quality, code compliance, and consistency across multiple locations. Mentor and support junior designers to improve quality and reduce rework. Contribute to process improvements, design standards, and best practices that increase project efficiency. What We're Looking For Strong HVAC design experience in commercial buildings. Commercial plumbing design experience. Background working within an MEP consulting or architectural environment. Advanced AutoCAD proficiency. Working knowledge of Revit. Ability to manage multiple deadlines in a high-volume production setting. Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering accurate construction documents. Excellent communication and coordination skills. Preferred Experience Retail, restaurant, or multi-site rollout project experience. Experience working from prototype-based designs. Mentoring or training other designers. Familiarity with fast-paced project environments requiring quick turnaround times. Ability to work independently with minimal oversight. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $45.00 - $50.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
