Mechanical Designer Valves

Mechanical Designer Valves (m/f/d) 80-100% The “Mechanical Designer Valves” is responsible for sustaining engineering and management of projects for improving existing products. Additionally, he/she supports the development of new products. As a member of a small development team he/she reports to the Head of Development Valves. Key Deliverables: Completion of daily tasks in sustaining engineering and quality issues Management of small projects for the adaption and improvement of existing products Support in new product development: Development and design of new and innovative products using internal tools (CAD, FEM, CFD) and external experts. Elaboration of innovative product and design concepts Evaluation of product performance according to specifications in collaboration with our testing lab Correct application of internal rules and processes Technically correct drawings according to internal and official standards Contribution to cost and quality optimization Qualifications: Higher Technical Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or similar > 3 years of experience as mechanical designer Deep knowledge in production processes for metal and plastic parts Good experience with 3D CAD systems (preferably SolidWorks) Experience with tools like FMEA (risk analysis), specification sheets, Microsoft software Fluent in German and English Good collaboration in teams
