Role Description The Medical Assistant at RAHO Premier is a full-time, hybrid role based in Jakarta, Indonesia, with some flexibility for work from home. This role supports clinicians and researchers by performing routine clinical tasks such as preparing patients for examinations, recording vital signs, and assisting during minor procedures. Daily responsibilities include managing patient intake, updating medical records, handling appointment scheduling, and coordinating basic medical office workflows. The Medical Assistant also helps maintain clinical areas, ensures proper documentation for patient care activities, and communicates clearly with patients and the medical team. Collaboration with healthcare professionals and adherence to safety and confidentiality standards are essential.

Qualifications

• Candidates should possess strong Medical Assisting and Patient Care skills, including taking vital signs, preparing patients, and supporting clinical procedures.
• Candidates should possess knowledge of Medical Terminology to accurately understand, document, and communicate clinical information.
• Candidates should possess familiarity with Medical Office operations, including scheduling, coordination, and basic administrative tasks.
• Candidates should possess experience with Medical Records management, including accurate documentation, filing, and maintaining confidentiality.
• Relevant vocational training or certification as a Medical Assistant or similar healthcare support role is preferred.
• Ability to follow clinical protocols, work safely in a research-oriented environment, and use basic computer systems and electronic health records.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with an emphasis on empathy, professionalism, and working effectively in multidisciplinary teams.
• Prior experience in clinics, hospitals, or research settings is beneficial, as is proficiency in English and Bahasa Indonesia.
