MEDICAL BILLING SPECIALIST

Raventra Health is a medical services company providing outsourced billing, coding, and claims processing solutions for provider groups and hospitals. As a Medical Billing Specialist, you will manage key stages of the revenue cycle for assigned clients, including charge entry, claim submission, payment posting, and denial resolution. You will help ensure claims are processed accurately, payments are collected efficiently, and billing issues are resolved promptly. WHAT YOU WILL DO Manage charge entry, claim submission, and payment posting for assigned clients Work first-pass denials and resubmit or appeal claims as appropriate Monitor and report on denial rates and billing performance for your assigned accounts Work directly with payer portals and maintain up-to-date payer-specific knowledge Liaise with provider practice managers and client teams to resolve documentation and billing gaps Meet daily productivity, accuracy, and quality standards Review claims for billing accuracy and identify issues that could delay reimbursement Maintain accurate billing records and follow established compliance and documentation procedures WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR 2+ years of experience in medical billing Experience working with multiple insurance payers and payer-specific billing requirements Experience with a practice management or billing system such as Epic, Athena, or eClinicalWorks Working knowledge of denial codes, claim corrections, and appeal processes Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple client accounts and priorities Ability to communicate effectively with provider teams, payers, and internal stakeholders HIPAA-compliant private workspace and ability to work effectively in a fully remote environment NICE TO HAVE CPB certification Experience with specialty-specific medical billing Experience working in multi-payer environments Experience with accounts receivable follow-up COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS Compensation will be discussed during the interview and will reflect the candidate’s experience, qualifications, and relevant medical billing expertise.
