Time: Full-Time (MST during onboarding/training, flexible post-training)

Location: Remote

Compensation: $2,000/month USD

Role Overview

Our client is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Payment Poster to manage the allocation of unapplied funds within their ModMed system. This individual will be responsible for manually allocating payments based on specific service lines, handling surgical deposits, and addressing discrepancies to ensure accurate revenue cycle management.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and allocate unapplied funds accurately within the ModMed system

• Manually allocate incoming payments based on specific service lines

• Process and handle surgical deposits efficiently

• Identify, investigate, and resolve payment discrepancies and unapplied dollars

• Review claim adjudications to identify payment errors and ensure proper reconciliation

• Collaborate with the revenue cycle team during standard business hours for initial training and onboarding

Qualifications

• Strong understanding of revenue cycle management and claim adjudication processes

• Demonstrated ability to identify payment errors and reconcile discrepancies

• Exceptional attention to detail and ability to maintain accuracy during routine tasks

• General revenue cycle experience required; industry-specific knowledge is a plus

• Flexible and adaptable to routine back-office workflows

• Ability to work standard client business hours during the initial onboarding period
