Work with a leading healthcare team in a dynamic and expanding practice Enjoy a collaborative and supportive work environment Play a vital role in ensuring accurate and efficient medical coding and billing Your Role: Review professional charge documents for accuracy and compliance Assign and enter diagnosis and procedure codes into billing systems Matches consultations with encounter forms and dictations from affiliate medical offices where the Partners have practiced Enters information pertaining to these procedures into the billing and patient systems. Balances at the end of the day. Research and correct claims following carrier guidelines Stay up to date on industry regulations and communicate updates Collaborate with departments to ensure smooth billing operations Maintain confidentiality and uphold ethical standards What We’re Looking For: Education: High school diploma or GED required; post-high school coursework in medical billing preferred Certification: CPC (Certified Professional Coder) required Experience: 1+ year of medical coding experience preferred Skills: Strong knowledge of third-party billing, coding terminology, and medical systems Interpersonal Skills: Must be able to communicate and collaborate effectively with team members in various departments.
