Medical Editor

We're looking for a detail-driven Medical Editor to support project-based work on an as-needed basis, up to 40 hours a week sometimes. The ideal candidate will come from a pharmaceutical advertising background and have extensive editing, referencing, and annotating experience. Open to various therapeutic areas but current need is for oncology.

• $45-50 per hour
• contract, project based but must be available up to 30 hours per week when work comes in

Responsibilities:

• Edit and proofread promotional and medical materials for accuracy, clarity, and compliance
• Annotate and reference source materials to support medical/legal/regulatory (MLR) review
• Ensure claims are properly substantiated and align with approved data
• Collaborate with copywriters, account teams, and med-reg-legal to keep projects moving
  
  
  

Required Qualifications:

• Background at a pharma advertising agency — this is required
• Strong hands-on experience with annotating and referencing — non-negotiable
• HCP experience preferred; D2C experience also welcome
• Sharp eye for detail and consistency under tight timelines
• Comfortable working independently on a project-by-project basis

• Must be available during EST business hours as projects arise
