Elevate Patient Financial Solutions has an exciting career opportunity available as a Medical Scheduling Auditor . This position will be a remote based role. The Full Time schedule for this role will be Monday through Friday 8 AM to 5 PM. Job Summary The Medical Scheduling Auditor provides technical and compliance support to Team Leads, Supervisors, and Service Line Managers. This role is responsible for auditing scheduling documentation, ensuring adherence to compliance standards, and validating the accuracy of clinical and procedural information within the Creatio EMR and hospital EMR systems. This role supports training initiatives by contributing audit insights that promote compliance, accuracy, and continuous improvement across scheduling operations. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Audit scheduler documentation to ensure all required information is complete, accurate, and compliant. Review and research provider orders entered in Creatio EMR, validating the accuracy of procedure codes, diagnosis codes, and physician-supplied information. Ensure each scheduled modality is accurate and that communication between the hospital EMR and Creatio EMR is correct and complete. Maintain current knowledge of regulatory requirements, compliance guidelines, and auditing standards. Accurately input and compile audit data to calculate performance scores for scheduling staff. Identify discrepancies or errors and collaborate with Team Leads/Supervisors to determine educational needs for the scheduling team. Regular and timely attendance Provide initial and ongoing training support in connection with new service line implementations, client onboarding, and business growth initiatives. Other duties as assigned. Qualifications and Requirements High School Diploma or Equivalent Minimum of two (2) years of Electronic Medical Records (EMR) experience required. Minimum of two (2) years of medical experience required. Knowledge of HIPAA Privacy and Security Regulations, demonstrated by appropriate handling of protected health information. Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise discretion at all times Adaptive mindset with the ability to shift focus between auditing and training functions as business needs evolve. Understanding of current and evolving compliance requirements. Familiarity with departmental documentation workflows and chart management. Proficient knowledge and understanding of medical terminology. Remote and Hybrid positions require internet connectivity speeds that meet the Company’s minimum upload and download requirements.
