Job Description: To support our Medical Team in Germany, we are looking for support as: Medical Science Liaison Manager Oncology - West (f/m/d) Region West Germany: Aachen – Düsseldorf – Bonn – Köln – Trier – Koblenz - Saarbrücken - Speyer Focus will be on Identify and develop relationships with national and regional medical and scientific KOLs consistent with the strategy and objectives of Medical Affairs and overall Ipsen strategies Engage in scientific exchange and education about current and emerging therapies in a compliant fashion with KOLs (to include advisory boards, individual meetings, and congresses) Develop and maintain scientific, clinical and therapeutic expertise in the areas of Oncology Represent the company at specific continuing medical educational events, programs, medical meetings and scientific conventions Work with clinical development as requested to identify and engage with appropriate sites for Ipsen trials and identify disease concepts that can be leveraged into product differentiation Differentiate Ipsen as the valued scientific partner of choice through innovative initiatives, coordinated strategy, and scientific communication Provide appropriate scientific, clinical, and educational support for internal cross functional customers (including other members of the MSL team) Support medical publications as needed (abstracts, manuscripts, etc.) Support commercial operations by participating in Speaker and Representative Training Lead/participate on special project teams as necessary Support cross-functional teams to ensure operations are patient-focused, including rapidly responding to internal and external requests to discuss specific situations and challenges and provide medical affairs support to all stakeholders Qualification requires Advanced Scientific, healthcare or medical degree (PharmD, PhD, MD) is required Medical/paramedical Practice or Research career (hospital and/or hospital related, university research, pharmaceutical industry research or medical affairs) Previous holding of an MSL or related role with at least 2 years’ experience Previous and recent experience in Oncology is an advantage Proven experience and successful track record as an MSL or medical department professional in a previous company Experience in delivery of scientific presentations and development of relationships with Thought Leaders Demonstrated expertise in ability to synthesize and communicate medical information clearly Knowledge in data analysis and statistics as well as legal, regulatory, and compliance regulations and guidelines Teamplayer with solution-oriented approach and good communication skills Ability to travel ~ 60-80% (based on the size of respective geography) Business fluent in German and English Our offer A permanent employment contract in an international future-oriented and dynamic company A meaningful job with real added value for society and patients Personal development and the opportunity to actively contribute to the company's success A pleasant and personal working atmosphere Communication at all levels and an open corporate culture Up to 36 days off and vacation Flexible working hours Attractive and performance-related payment Company health management, sports offers and pension scheme We look forward to receiving your application with details of your earliest start date and salary expectation. #LI-Remote We are committed to creating a workplace where everyone feels heard, valued, and supported; where we embrace “The Real Us”.
