MEP Electrical Engineer - Residential

You Are: An experienced residential Electrical Engineer/System Designer with experience in luxury residential for many years. You are good with people and feel comfortable collaborating with a sales team along with direct client interaction. You love technology and are passionate about the creation of systems that enhance the lives of clients and enjoy working with a team to deliver on that goal. You Have: Experience with Design/Layout/Drafting and proposal creation for residential electrical systems using tools such as CAD & Revit (Ideally), estimating, field & RFI support. A steady work history (3yrs between hops), a pleasant disposition, Hiqh EQ. Creation of design and engineering documentation for electrical systems implementation in high end residences and light commercial applications Understand design software (ideally AutoCAD, D-Tools, Planswift) Deep understanding of electrical systems, NEC, load calculations, engineering circuits & distribution systems Understand the built environment and phases of construction projects Qualifications: REQUIRED: Experience designing electrical systems for residential and commercial projects. Strong working knowledge of the NEC Experience producing electrical drawings and construction documentation. PREFERRED: Experience with AV or low-voltage distribution layouts. Familiarity with residential construction, commercial tenant improvements, service upgrades, and electrical permitting requirements. Holm Electric's Contribution to You: $80k to $105k/yr – Yup!
