AECOM EC Romania is seeking a dynamic and experienced MEP Team Manager to lead our team in delivering high-impact engineering projects. This role offers the opportunity to drive technical excellence, mentor talented professionals, and contribute to the growth and innovation of our business. Key Responsibilities: Lead and manage the MEP team, setting clear goals and ensuring alignment with business objectives. Apply broad technical expertise across multiple disciplines, acting as a subject matter expert for the team and stakeholders. Oversee project delivery, ensuring adherence to budget, schedule, and quality standards. Solve complex, novel challenges—often developing new or improved methodologies to achieve project success. Implement process improvements and champion the adoption of innovative techniques and technologies. Facilitate dialogue and collaboration across functions, geographies, and business lines, engaging with both internal and external stakeholders. Manage stakeholder expectations and deliver results that impact both project and business area performance. Coach and train team members, fostering a culture of continuous learning and professional development. Lead BIM/REVIT modeling and project documentation for MEP services. Required Skills & Experience: Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Electrical/Mechanical Engineering or related field. Minimum 10 years of experience in MEP design and building services, with proven leadership experience. Strong knowledge of relevant MEP systems, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and fire protection systems. Proficient in BIM/REVIT for MEP design, with experience managing BIM processes. In-depth understanding of industry standards, including LEED, BREEAM, and other sustainable building practices. Excellent spoken and written English skills. Ability to manage and lead multidisciplinary engineering teams. Strong problem-solving skills and a passion for innovative solutions in building services. Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Advanced knowledge of design tools such as AutoCAD, Revit, and other MEP design software. Proven experience in coordinating and delivering projects within established timeframes and budgets. Willingness to work collaboratively in a diverse and dynamic team. Nice to have: Experience working on international projects or in a global organization. Familiarity with the latest trends and technologies in MEP engineering. Track record of implementing process improvements and change initiatives.
