We are seeking a MES Engineer to join our team remotely! Responsibilities: Support and enhance manufacturing technology platforms and applications Configure and maintain industrial connectivity solutions and data historians Troubleshoot OT data flow, integration, and communication issues Partner with manufacturing, quality, engineering, and IT teams to deliver technology solutions Implement and support MES, historian, and manufacturing data systems Develop technical documentation including process flows, system architecture diagrams, and integration specifications Create and support real-time dashboards and manufacturing performance reporting Assist with Industry 4.0, smart factory, and digital transformation initiatives Serve as a technical resource and subject matter expert for manufacturing data platforms Support multiple manufacturing facilities and collaborate with global stakeholders Required Experience Strong SQL and database experience Experience with industrial data historians (OSI PI) Experience with industrial connectivity solutions (Kepware or FactoryTalk) Experience integrating manufacturing equipment and data systems Understanding of MES, SCADA, or manufacturing execution technologies Knowledge of industrial communication protocols such as OPC, OPC UA, MQTT, or Modbus Experience troubleshooting data collection, system interfaces, and manufacturing applications Strong communication and stakeholder management skills PLC integration or industrial controls experience OEE and manufacturing performance reporting API integrations Industry 4.0 initiatives Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of Boston, MA. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $50.00 - $70.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
