Mid/Senior QA Automation Engineer (Mobile) | Contract

The role focuses on quality assurance for a banking mobile application project. The specialist will support end-to-end testing across Android , iOS , API , frontend, backend, and integration layers, while contributing to automated testing using Java , Selenide , TestNG , and cloud-based testing platforms such as LambdaTest . Key Responsibilities: Perform end-to-end testing of mobile applications across Android and iOS platforms. Conduct UI testing and API testing to validate backend communication and messaging. Ensure quality across frontend, backend, and integration points. Collaborate with developers and product teams to align on testing scope and coverage. Contribute to the design, development, and maintenance of automated test suites. Participate in manual exploratory testing for new features when needed. Must-Have Requirements: Middle-Senior experience in software testing and quality assurance. Strong knowledge of software testing principles and QA methodologies . Proficiency in Java for test automation. Experience with Selenide for UI automation . Experience with TestNG for test orchestration and reporting. Experience with LambdaTest or similar cloud testing platforms. Familiarity with REST-assured , Postman , or similar API testing tools. Ability to write automated API tests integrated into CI/CD pipelines . Experience with GitLab CI or similar CI/CD tools. Ability to define and maintain test plans, test cases, and test data. Experience with bug tracking and test management tools such as Jira . Strong communication skills for working with cross-functional teams.
