What is this role all about? As a Mid or Senior Software Engineer at Infobip, you will be part of our Engineering Powerhouse, working on an in-house developed product that operates at a global scale. You will contribute to a large, scalable microservices architecture that delivers over 500 million messages daily and supports our clients’ business growth. This role is focused on our RCS (Rich Communication Services) platform , which powers rich, interactive business messaging that goes far beyond traditional channels. You will help deliver branded, app-like customer experiences routed through carriers worldwide. We’re talking about systems with high uptime, high throughput, and low latency. When you join us, you will work with Java, Kotlin, and React. If you have a strong foundation in object-oriented programming, we still encourage you to apply, even if you have not worked with this exact tech stack before. What you’ll do : Develop, maintain, monitor, and troubleshoot team-owned services on Infobip’s platform Take full ownership of the code you produce, from development to production Write well-designed, testable, and scalable code following clean code principles Work primarily on backend development while growing toward full-stack development Collaborate closely with Product Management on feature development and delivery Apply an AI-first mindset, including exploring and integrating AI or LLM-based capabilities into product features where relevant. What makes you a strong fit: Strong knowledge and understanding of object-oriented programming principles Solid understanding of data structures and algorithms Experience working with concurrent and multi-tier applications Appreciation for code reviews and experience with code testing practices Good understanding of RESTful services You are comfortable using modern development approaches, including AI-assisted coding tools and agents.
