Role Overview:

We are hiring for one of our clients, seeking a Cocos2d-x Junior Game Developer to work on a contract basis. The role involves developing and optimizing 2D games using the Cocos2d-x framework for mobile and web platforms. Responsibilities include implementing game mechanics, debugging issues, and collaborating with designers and other developers.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain game features using Cocos2d-x and C++.

• Optimize game performance for smooth gameplay across devices.

• Debug and resolve issues in game logic, rendering, and physics.

• Collaborate with designers to implement art assets and animations.

• Conduct unit testing and ensure code quality through best practices.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Proficiency in Cocos2d-x and C++ for game development.

• Experience with game physics, collision detection, and rendering.

• Familiarity with mobile game development and platform-specific optimizations.

• Knowledge of game design principles and asset integration.

• Ability to debug and troubleshoot game-related issues efficiently.

• Basic understanding of version control systems like Git.
