Module Design Architect

Renesas Electronics, a leading global semiconductor company, is rapidly scaling its AI-focused power delivery business. Products include high-performance digital power VRMs, multiphase controllers, Smart Power Stages (SPS), Vertical Power Stages (SPS with integrated capacitors and multiple silicon die), Power Towers (power modules integrating multiple SPS-equivalents with capacitors and inductors), and power MOSFETs. Key Responsibilities Lead NPI definition of next gen multi-phase AI power module products: Partner with cross-functional teams, including mechanical, software, and systems engineering, to integrate power modules into larger electrical systems and align on thermal and power requirements. Define project scope, goals, and deliverables aligned with organizational objectives. Present next-generation product updates and proposals to senior management and key stakeholders. Collaborate with internal and external manufacturing partners to prototype designs and transition them into production. Engineering Samples & NPI Management: Assess the suitability of existing materials for customer samples. Ensure proper governance through NPI planning gates and readiness reviews. Cross-Functional Leadership & Governance: Act as a single point of new product coordination across: Product Line Management , Design Engineering, Quality , Packaging team , Internal and External manufacturing teams Escalate critical issues with data-driven recommendations. Education: Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering required (Master’s degree preferred). 10+ years of experience in product management or product definer within power electronics or infrastructure markets. 3+ years of experience in power module engineering teams. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to engage with team members and stakeholders at all levels.
