Monitoring Engineer Make a direct impact on the reliability of critical payment services 🖥️ Do you want to play a key role in keeping critical payment services running around the clock? You have a unique chance to be the driving force behind Ecommpay payment platform as a Monitoring Engineer . You will be part of the team monitoring critical production services and helping identify and respond to issues as they happen. You'll be close to live systems, incidents and operational changes, with your attention and judgement directly contributing to service stability. Every shift brings a different mix of alerts, incidents, planned work and operational tasks. You'll work closely with team leads and relevant teams while building hands-on experience of production monitoring, incident handling, deployments and rollbacks. You'll also see how automation, AI and bots are utilized to reduce repetitive operational work and make day-to-day processes more efficient. If you enjoy working with live systems and solving problems in real time, this role gives you the opportunity to build practical expertise in fintech operations while making an impact every shift. What you will do: Monitor critical production services and actively track alerts and operational data Work a rotating shift pattern of 2 day shifts, 2 days off, 2 night shifts and 2 days off (08:00–20:00 / 20:00–08:00, UTC+3) Detect incidents, perform initial diagnostics and register them accurately Escalate incidents in line with established procedures and SLAs Take over and hand over shifts, reviewing active alerts, tickets, open incidents, planned work and recent changes Stay connected with team leads and relevant teams throughout the shift to coordinate ongoing operational activity Perform operational tasks, including deployments, rollbacks and other planned production activities Prepare reports and data exports and support routine operational processes Follow through on operational tasks coming from management and product teams, helping ensure planned work is completed What we are looking for: Experience working with monitoring systems or in technical support within banking or fintech Understanding of how a 24/7 production environment operates Hands-on experience with Kibana, Grafana, Zabbix and ELK Working knowledge of SQL and the ability to use it to investigate and work with production data Good knowledge of Excel Experience working with Jira and Confluence Good command of English and Russian Willingness and ability to work a rotating 24/7 shift schedule , including nights, weekends and holidays Strong attention to detail with proactive approach to identifying and addressing potential issues Ability to stay calm under pressure and prioritise effectively in a fast-moving production environment Why join us: Shape the future of digital finance Join a fast-growing global FinTech where your work has real impact.
