Job Overview The Monitoring, Evaluation and Learning (MEL) Manager will lead the design, implementation , an d management of Be Strong International’s monitoring and evaluation systems. This role ensures that programs are data-driven, outcomes are measurable, and insights are used to improve program effectiveness and inform strategic decisions. The MEL Manager will foster a culture of learning and continuous improvement across the organization and supervise team members and consultants . Monitoring & Evaluation Develop and implement a comprehensive MEL framework and systems aligned with organizational goals and donor requirements. G uide the design of mixed-methods evaluations and survey methodologies, incorporating both quantitative and qualitative data sources. Development survey tools, dashboards, and reporting systems that enhance organizational learning and decision-making . Ensure compliance with data quality standards and ethical guidelines. Conduct regular data analysis and produce reports for internal and external stakeholders. Learning & Knowledge Management Facilitate organizational learning by synthesizing findings and sharing actionable insights with program teams. Organize learning sessions, workshops, and knowledge-sharing platforms to improve program design and delivery. Document best practices and lessons learned for continuous improvement. Supervision & Team Leadership Directly supervise a Data Analyst or equivalent position, providing guidance, mentorship, and performance management. Ensure the data team meets deadlines and maintains high standards of accuracy and integrity. Capacity Building Train stakeholders on MEL tools, processes, and data-driven decision-making. Provide technical support to program teams for integrating MEL into project planning and implementation. Reporting & Compliance D evelopment survey tools, dashboards, and reporting systems that enhance organizational learning and decision-making. Prepare high-quality reports for donors, partners, and internal leadership. Ensure compliance with donor reporting requirements and organizational standards. Qualifications: Master ’s degree in Statistics , Social Sciences, Public Health, data science , or related field . Minimum 5 years of experience in data analytics, program evaluation, or impact measurement within nonprofit or social service organizations. Strong knowledge of M&E frameworks, data collection tools, performance measurement, logic modeling, and outcome-based evaluation. Proficient in evaluation , analytics tools Qualtrics, Power BI, CRM platforms (Go High Level, HubSpot ) and statistical analysis software (e.g., SPSS, STATA, NVVIVO , Tableau, Excel). Experience with qualitative and quantitative research methods. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to clearly convey complex information to both technical and non-technical audiences, anticipate stakeholder concerns, and respond with empathy and precision Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment. 1 year of e xperience supervising staff . Creative and innovative thinker, with a strong analytical mindset and a curiosity to explore underlying trends, industry developments, and new technologies Attention to detail.
