Job Description: In this role, the primary responsibility of the Closer is to prepare initial Closing Disclosures and closing packages. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Prepare initial Closing Disclosure in compliance with all TRID regulations Prepare accurate and complete closing packages using Encompass and Docutech Review all Loan Estimates and Closing Disclosures for any tolerance violations Develop and maintain a strong understanding of all required documentation Build positive relationships and answer inquiries from colleagues, clients, attorneys, and vendors Knowledgeable in Refinances, Purchases, Conv, FHA, VA, USDA, BOND programs Adhere to all compliance regulations Assist in clearing post-closing suspenses Skills and Competencies Demonstrated computer skills in word processing, spreadsheet and electronic mail software Strong communication and interpersonal skills, and a high level or integrity and confidentiality Strong aptitude for math High level of customer service skills Strong time management and organizational skills in a dynamic, constantly changing environment Attention to detail and quality focused Additional Job Description Summary: Rate is an Equal Opportunity Employer that welcomes and encourages all applicants to apply regardless of age, race, sex, religion, color, national origin, disability, veteran status, sexual orientation, gender identity and/or expression, marital or parental status, ancestry, citizenship status, pregnancy or other reason protected by law.
