Motion Designer / Animator

About The Role

We are looking for a talented, forward-thinking Marketing Creative Animator to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for creating high-impact 2D/motion animations designed to captivate audiences and drive engagement across all marketing channels.

A successful candidate has a strong eye for marketing trends, works well in a fast-paced environment, is highly proficient in integrating AI tools into their creative workflow, and can transform feedback into polished, high-performing visual assets.

Responsibilities

• Animation Creation: Produce high-impact, polished motion assets and animations for our game's marketing campaigns across all digital and social channels, ensuring strict alignment with brand guidelines.
• Iteration Process: Own the animation iteration process from end to end, incorporating feedback from creative leads and performance data to optimize the visual effectiveness of ads while maintaining efficient timelines.
• AI Integration & Technical Adaptability: Actively implement and adapt to new tools and technologies, specifically integrating AI generation and AI-assisted tools into the daily animation workflow to speed up production and enhance asset quality.
• Professional Growth: Stay ahead of the curve by actively developing your skills, researching industry benchmarks, and adopting emerging animation and motion design trends.
• Team Collaboration & Communication: Foster collaborative, open, and effective communication with creative directors, UA managers, and other team members, ensuring a clear understanding of campaign objectives and feedback.

Qualifications

Must-have:

• 3+ years of experience in Motion Design/Animation, specifically creating marketing assets, UA video ads, or social media creatives (preferably in the gaming or digital entertainment industry).
• Proven experience using AI tools and technologies (such as Midjourney, Stable Diffusion, Runway, Sora, Photoshop AI, or similar AI-assisted animation/generation tools) integrated into your creative workflow (Please include relevant examples in your portfolio).
• Expertise in Adobe After Effects (experience with Premiere Pro is a plus).
• Strong understanding of animation principles (timing, ease, weight) applied to marketing/converting creatives.
• Ability to work with fast iteration cycles, handle constructive feedback effectively, and meet marketing deadlines.
• Good written and verbal English communication skills.
• A strong portfolio/showreel demonstrating engaging marketing-oriented motion design and AI usage.

Nice-to-have:

• Working knowledge of Photoshop.
• Experience in a mobile gaming or social games company.
• Skills in Spine 2D, Unity (2D), or 3D software (Blender/Cinema4D).
• Knowledge of storyboarding and cinematic pacing.

Additional Notes:

• You may be expected to complete a test as part of the interviewing procedure.
